Order and Shipping
Each jewelry will be made for you by hand within 14 days after your order is received and then directly shipped out. If you need your jewelry sooner please send me an email to find out if your piece can be made and shipped by a closer date.
Shipping fees
Danmark/EU: 100 DKK
Internationally: 200 DKK
Please note that the shipping fee won’t be refunded in case of uncollected items.
Extra duties and charges
Birka Lexia Jewelry can not predict or be responsible for extra VAT, import duties and/or taxes that might be added to your package once it reaches your country, this could apply to e.g. non-EU countries.
Damaged item by shipping
If your jewelry has been damaged during shipping, please contact me immediately at contact@birkalexia.com. Send a picture with a description of the damage. Please, wait for response and further instructions before sending back the damage jewelry. The piece must be returned in its original condition and packaging.
When you return any item, please note that the item is your responsibility until it’s been received at the Birka Lexia workshop. Therefore, I strongly recommend that you send it back in a suitable parcel, with ensured postal service and tracking code. Birka Lexia Jewelry are not responsible, and will not compensate, for jewelry lost in the mail while being shipped back. Once your returned item has been received and approved, a new piece of the same type of product will be sent to you.
Returns
If you regret your purchase, first of all don't worry. You have 14 days after receiving your item to reach out to contact@birkalexia.com and let me know you wish to return your product. Please include your order number in the email. The jewelry must be unused and returned in the original packaging.
Please note that the item is your responsibility until it’s been received at the Birka Lexia studio. Therefor I strongly recommend that you send it back in a suitable parcel and with ensured postal service and tracking code. Birka Lexia Jewelry are not responsible for, and will not compensate, any jewelry lost in the mail or for pieces being damaged while being shipped back. All costs connected to returning an item is your responsibility. Once your returned item has been received and approved you will have your refund issued to the card that you’ve used to purchase the item. No refund will be made before the item is received in its original condition.
If any returned item is in unsuitable condition, it will not be accepted and will be sent back to you without refund.
Please note that items bought on sale and custom made orders cannot be returned or exchanged.
Returns on Christmas gifts /Gifts
If you bought an item in December you automatically have to the 7th of January to reach out to contact@birkalexia.com and let me know you wish to return your gift.

Exchange
If you wish to exchange an item, contact me within 14 days after receiving your piece. Send me your order number and inform me at contact@birkalexia.com. Please wait for response and further instructions before sending back the jewelry you wish to exchange. The piece must be returned in its original packaging and unworn.

Birka Lexia Jewelry are not responsible for any jewelry lost in the mail or for pieces being damaged while being shipped back to us. All costs connected to returning an item for exchange is your own. Once your returned item has been received and approved the jewelry you exchanged the original purchase with will be shipped to you at your expense.

Repairs
Birka Lexia Jewelry come with a 2 year warranty from the day you received your item - therefore save your order number and receipt.
If something were to happen to your jewelry due to production faulty, please contact me at contact@birkalexia.com, send a picture and explain the damage as detailed as possible before sending your jewelry.

Birka Lexia Jewelry are not responsible for, and will not compensate, any jewelry lost in the mail while being shipped back. All costs connected to shipping an item is your responsibility. Once your item has been received at our address, we will repair it as fast as possible before sending it back to you on our expense.
Misused jewelry or pieces changed with time from being worn won’t be considered as reclamation.
